fees
Many appointments are bulk billed. There is no out-of-pocket cost if you have:
A concession card or DVA card
Are under 16
Are booking long-acting contraception (Implanon or IUD insertion, removal, or replacement) and hold a Medicare card
For other appointments, a private fee applies. You pay at the time of your appointment and your Medicare rebate is processed instantly through our terminal.

Wart removal: treatment of warts and minor skin lesions. Suturing: wound closure with dressings and review. Implanon: long-acting reversible contraception. Cervical screening: National Cervical Screening Program. Minor procedures: ear syringing, cryotherapy, dressings, similar.
Repeat prescriptions and referrals
If you have been seen at Praxera in the last six months, a brief telephone consultation is the simplest way to arrange a repeat prescription or referral. Standard fees apply.
Schedule 8 medications and any new prescriptions require an in-person consultation.
Telehealth
Telehealth appointments are available to patients who have been seen in person within the past 12 months. Phone and video options are available. Same fees apply as in-person consultations.
Patients without a Medicare card
International students, visitors, and working holiday makers pay the same private fee. We can provide a receipt for claiming against travel or overseas student health insurance.
Cancellations
Please give 4 hours' notice if you need to change or cancel. A cancellation fee may apply for late cancellations or missed appointments.
