Terms of service
Praxera Pty Ltd (ACN 698 878 143)
Effective date: 12 June 2026
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of the Praxera website and the clinical and consulting services we provide. "Praxera", "we", "us" and "our" mean Praxera Pty Ltd (ACN 698 878 143). By using this website, booking an appointment, or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. We may update them from time to time; the current version, with its effective date, is published on this page.
2. Our services
Praxera provides nurse practitioner clinical services, and consulting and mentoring. Information on this website is general in nature, is not a substitute for individual clinical advice, and should not be relied on as your sole basis for a health decision.
3. Not for emergencies
Our services are not for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 000 or attend your nearest emergency department. Do not use this website or our booking systems to communicate urgent or time-critical clinical concerns.
4. Appointments, fees and cancellations
When you book, you agree to provide accurate information and to attend at the booked time. Clinical appointments are booked through Best Practice; consulting and mentoring sessions are booked through Cal.
Many appointments are bulk billed and have no out-of-pocket cost. For privately billed appointments, the full fee is payable at the time of your appointment; where you are eligible, your Medicare rebate is processed at the time through our terminal and reimbursed to you by Services Australia. Current fees are set out on our Fees page.
If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please give at least 4 hours' notice. A cancellation or non-attendance fee may apply for late cancellations or missed appointments.
5. Appointment reminders and communications
We may contact you by phone, SMS, email or post about your appointments, follow-up, and health reviews relevant to your care. By providing your contact details and booking with us, you consent to receiving these communications. You can ask us to change how we contact you at any time.
6. Clinical outcomes
Booking an appointment secures a clinical assessment with a nurse practitioner; it does not guarantee a particular outcome. Whether a specific prescription, test, referral or document is provided is a matter for the practitioner's clinical judgement, and depends on what is clinically appropriate, safe, and permitted within their scope of practice and the law. If you have concerns about your care, please raise them with us first (see section 11). Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Telehealth
We offer telehealth consultations (phone and video) to patients who have been seen in person within the previous 12 months. A telehealth consultation may not be as complete as a face-to-face appointment, and technical issues can affect quality. Some matters are not suitable for telehealth, and certain medicines will not be prescribed this way. If a telehealth consultation cannot safely address your needs, we will discuss alternatives with you, including a face-to-face appointment. You may stop a telehealth consultation at any time without affecting your right to receive care.
8. Consulting and mentoring
Consulting and mentoring engagements are governed by a separate written agreement or proposal between Praxera and the client, setting out scope, deliverables, fees and terms. These website terms apply to your use of the site; the engagement agreement governs the work itself and prevails to the extent of any inconsistency.
9. Use of this website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it, for example by interfering with its operation or security, introducing malicious code, or using it to collect others' information. We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably consider it is being misused.
10. Intellectual property and third-party services
The content of this website — including text, branding, the Praxera name and wordmark, and design — is owned by or licensed to Praxera and protected by law; you may not reproduce or use it without our permission, except as permitted by law. Our website may link to or use third-party services (such as our scheduling tools); we are not responsible for their content or practices, and your use of them is subject to their own terms.
11. Privacy, concerns and complaints
We handle your personal and health information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at praxera.com.au/privacy. If you have a concern about our services, please contact us first using the details below so we can try to resolve it. Our Privacy Policy explains how to escalate a privacy concern to the OAIC; concerns about a registered health practitioner may also be raised with AHPRA.
12. Liability
We provide our website and services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantees or other rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the general website information being relied on in place of individual clinical advice, for interruptions to the website or booking systems, or for the acts or content of third-party services we link to. Our clinical services are covered by professional indemnity insurance and remain subject to our professional and legal obligations.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
